The CarClamp process

Clear steps. Proper evidence. Professional removal.

Where the applicable CarClamp process uses a 28 day notice, that period is made clear from the start. We then assess the evidence, authority and circumstances before arranging any recovery.

DAYS

28 Day Notice Process

Where applicable, serve the notice, keep evidence of service and allow the stated period to expire before submitting the removal request.

Long standing vehicles: where a vehicle has already been abandoned for more than 28 days and no earlier Tort notice has been served, a shorter notice route may be available in appropriate circumstances. Where the applicable process permits, a one day notice may be used. CarClamp will assess the circumstances before removal.

Request Vehicle Removal

For landowners, freeholders, landlords, managing agents and authorised property representatives.

1. Your details

Tell us who is responsible for the site.

2. Vehicle details

Give us enough information to identify the vehicle and understand the situation.

3. Notice & evidence

If a 28 day notice has been served as part of the applicable process, record the details and retain evidence of service. If the vehicle has already been abandoned for more than 28 days and no earlier Tort notice was served, tell us so we can assess whether a shorter notice route, including a one day notice where applicable, can be used.

4. Authority & declaration

This confirms your authority to ask CarClamp to assess the case. It does not itself create a right to remove or dispose of the vehicle.

I confirm that I am the landowner, freeholder, authorised occupier, managing agent or otherwise authorised representative responsible for the private land identified in this request.

I confirm that the information and evidence supplied is accurate to the best of my knowledge and that I have authority to instruct CarClamp.com to assess the vehicle removal request.

I understand that submission of this request does not itself authorise removal, sale, disposal or transfer of ownership. CarClamp.com will review the circumstances, documentation and evidence before confirming whether and how the request can proceed.
